About CryptoGuide101

CryptoGuide101 is an independent publication focused on cryptocurrency education. It covers how Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and the broader crypto market work, how to use them safely, and what is happening in the space right now. The goal is simple: give readers accurate information without the hype that runs through most crypto coverage.

Every article on this site is written for people who want to understand crypto — not just trade it. That means plain language, real numbers, and no price predictions dressed up as investment advice.

About the author

Amer Fejzić is the founder and lead writer of CryptoGuide101. He has followed Bitcoin and the broader crypto market since 2017, through multiple full bull and bear cycles, and has used these networks directly: buying and holding crypto, paying gas fees, using DeFi protocols, staking, and navigating exchanges across different jurisdictions.

That hands-on experience shapes how this site writes about crypto. When an article explains how gas fees work, it is written by someone who has watched a transaction fail because the limit was set too low. When an article covers staking, it comes from someone who has actually staked and tracked the rewards. When an article reviews an exchange, it comes from someone who has gone through the KYC process, deposited funds, and made withdrawals.

Amer writes about crypto because it is the part of finance he finds most interesting and most misrepresented in mainstream coverage. There is still a lot most people do not know about how these networks actually work — and most guides written for beginners are either condescending or quietly promotional. CryptoGuide101 exists to be neither.

Editorial standards

Every article is written from primary sources: official blockchain documentation, on-chain data, exchange fee schedules, and verified market data. Where a claim depends on a third-party source, that source is linked directly.

Articles are updated when the underlying information changes. Crypto moves fast. A staking guide written before a major protocol upgrade would have outdated numbers. When something material changes, the article changes with it. The last updated date is shown at the top of every guide.

Nothing on this site is financial advice. CryptoGuide101 explains how things work. What you do with that information is your decision. The full disclaimer covers this in detail.
